Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Execution Engineer to manage and actively participate in the execution of engineering and project activities from planning through completion. This role requires strong technical involvement in field operations, installation, troubleshooting, coordination, testing, and execution support to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
The ideal candidate is proactive, technically skilled, and comfortable working directly on-site with equipment, contractors, technicians, and project teams.

We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products. Essential Job Functions:
Project & Site Execution
- Execute day-to-day engineering and operational activities at project sites.
- Supervise and participate in installation, assembly, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Provide guidance to contractors and fabrication teams per engineering drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical specifications to support field execution.
- Monitor work progress and ensure alignment with project schedules and milestones.
- Conduct field inspections to verify workmanship, installation quality, and compliance with specifications.
Hands-On Technical Work
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and resolve mechanical, electrical, civil, or operational issues during execution.
- Support equipment installation, alignment, calibration, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Assist technicians and contractors in resolving technical and operational challenges.
- Verify measurements, site conditions, and installation parameters before and during execution.
- Work with Process Engineering Team to facilitate SAT’s of installed systems, oversee final operational checks, and performance validation.
- Ensure proper use of tools, machinery, and safety equipment on-site.
- Review and validate completed work against technical drawings and quality standards.
- Support maintenance, repair, and modification activities when required.
- Conduct root cause analysis for execution delays, failures, or quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Monitor daily progress reports, execution logs, inspection records, and technical documentation.
- Track material delivery, inventory usage, and equipment availability at site.
- Escalate execution risks, technical concerns, and schedule impacts to management.
- Participate in project meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure all execution activities comply with safety regulations, company procedures, and client requirements.
- Provide job site safety leadership and guide Job Safety Assessments.
- Enforce safe work practices and monitor adherence to EHS standards.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout execution phases.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions for quality or safety observations.
Education and Experience:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an Industrial Engineering field with 3+ years experience in industrial equipment service/installation-or-10+ years experience in field service/equipment deployment.
- Experience in field execution, site engineering, installation, commissioning, or operations.
- Strong understanding of engineering systems, tools, equipment, and execution processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
- Willingness to work on-site and in physically demanding environments when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with commissioning, startup, maintenance, or construction activities.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and permit-to-work systems.
- Familiarity with project scheduling and reporting tools.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
Work Environment
- Significant on-site and field-based work involvement.
- Requires active participation in inspections, equipment handling, troubleshooting, and execution support activities.
- Position requires approximately 25%–50% travel during project installations, site evaluations at vendor facilities, and customer locations, depending on project demands and execution schedules.
- May involve shift work, overtime, and working in industrial or construction environments.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted
- Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Able to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts
- Able to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts
- Able to be active and on your feet. Some days you will be mostly at your desk, but there are
also days when you are moving around the lab, measuring materials, setting up samples,
and other activities for most of the day.
