Who You Are:

We are currently searching for a Cultivation Technician (Marijuana Specialist) to join our operation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Due to our exciting growth, we are seeking support to care for medical marijuana plants during the immature, vegetative and flowering stages. You will be responsible for our plants and perform tasks such as cloning, pruning, transplanting, up-potting, watering, feeding, ensuring environmental control, harvesting and inspecting plants for signs of deficiency or infestation.

This position offers 4 different schedules to choose from:

• 6:30am - 5:00pm Monday-Thursday
• 6:30am - 5:00pm Thursday-Sunday
• 7:00am - 5:30pm Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
• 7:00am - 5:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

In this role, you will be able to jump in and make an immediate impact. Specifically, you will:

• First and foremost, resonate with our mission as an organization: To design and deliver cannabis for the diversity of life.
• Fulfill our requirement to be 21 years of age in order to work with our product.
• Apply your high school diploma/GED and 1-3 years of experience in horticulture, agriculture or marijuana cultivation to our fast-paced, growing environment.
• Maintain the health of immature, vegetative and flowering plants through observation and adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). If you have a plant-related allergy, you may want to consider this as you apply. We encourage you to talk to us in the interview process about possible accommodations.
• Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and counts of plants.
• Perform plant maintenance and feedings and irrigation events according to a set schedule and SOP.
• Ensure the grow facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls established within the cultivation SOPs.
• Regularly sanitize tools, equipment, pots and production areas used in the grow facility to ensure sanitary practices.
• Abide by high personal hygiene standards.
• Check and record accurate data daily.
• Break down and set up plant production areas after harvest, including: sweep all work areas, sanitize crop benches, wash down rooms, and prepare to transplant new crops.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with regard to plant health and traceability, in order to uphold the company’s standard for quality.
• Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems.
