Retail Merchandiser / Sales Relief

Job Summary

We are hiring a Retail Merchandiser / Sales Relief Representative to support retail beverage accounts throughout East Central Indiana. This position is responsible for stocking shelves, merchandising displays, rotating inventory, and providing sales support for assigned retail customers.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in merchandising, retail stocking, route sales, customer service, beverage distribution, or product display setup.

Retail Merchandiser Responsibilities

• Stock beverage products on shelves, coolers, and floor displays
• Rotate inventory to maintain product freshness and proper dating
• Build, maintain, and organize retail merchandising displays
• Install and maintain point-of-sale marketing materials
• Provide sales support to Sales Account Managers
• Assist with order placement and product restocking
• Maintain company merchandising standards and retail quality expectations
• Service multiple retail customer locations on an assigned route
• Build positive working relationships with store managers and staff
• Ensure shelves, displays, and product placements meet company and supplier standards

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and place 30+ pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout retail locations during shifts
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while managing a service route

Preferred Experience

• Retail merchandising
• Grocery, convenience store, or beverage industry experience
• Route sales or delivery support
• Customer service or retail stocking experience
• Product display building or planogram execution

Work Environment
