SUMMARY:
The Marketing Specialist coordinates the execution of marketing initiatives across TexasBank by managing project workflows, campaign coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. This role oversees marketing projects from initial request through completion, ensuring priorities, timelines, approvals, and deliverables are managed efficiently. Serving as the primary point of coordination for marketing requests, the Marketing Specialist facilitates communication between departments, maintains project documentation, supports campaign execution, and helps keep marketing initiatives organized and on schedule.
JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage marketing projects from request through completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and milestones are clearly documented and maintained.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and implementation plans while monitoring progress and communicating status updates to stakeholders.
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns across business lines and communication channels by organizing campaign assets, supporting materials, schedules, and launch activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming marketing requests by managing project intake, gathering required information, and facilitating prioritization with the Marketing Director.
- Maintain the department marketing calendar, monitor key deadlines, and support workload management to ensure projects are prioritized and completed efficiently.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Retail, Treasury Management, Mortgage, Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, Compliance, and other departments.
- Organize meetings, maintain project documentation, track action items, and follow up on project-related activities.
- Partner with external vendors, agencies, and service providers to ensure projects remain on schedule and deliverables are completed on time.
- Manage the routing of marketing materials through established compliance, review, and approval processes while tracking revisions, approvals, and production schedules.
- Maintain organized marketing files, project records, departmental resources, procedures, and documentation.
- Support departmental administrative functions, including invoice processing, purchase coordination, record maintenance, and other operational activities as assigned.
- Assist with special projects and department initiatives that support the strategic goals of the Marketing Department.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Air-conditioned office environment.
- This position occasionally requires flexibility for work beyond standard hours, although such instances are infrequent.
- Consistent and timely attendance is required to ensure uninterrupted operational efficiency and exemplary service delivery.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Walk, stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach.
- Extended keyboarding.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Able to travel to different TexasBank locations as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, business administration, or related roles.
- Strong organizational, project coordination, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management or workflow tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Financial services experience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating projects in a regulated or compliance-driven environment.
- Experience working with project management systems and workflow platforms.
- Familiarity with marketing operations, campaign coordination, and departmental planning processes.
