Description
The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) is a people focused, award-winning, full-service consulting firm that offers a wide array of services including civil and geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, planning, landscape architecture, agriculture, surveying and construction support. Our talented staff of more than 650+ professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and construction solutions.
Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for an AEC Marketing Coordinator to assist with our projects. This position can be hybrid or remote.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal & Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) Development:
- Facilitation of Proposals and SOQ submittals
- Research for Proposal/SOQ preparation (internet, agency files, prior project files, Vantagepoint, etc.)
- Conduct Proposal Meetings every Monday and update proposal tracker
- Acquire strategic Proposal/SOQ information from in-house meeting discussions, one-on-one interaction with the proposal team and analysis of the client RFP
- Conduct post-mortem evaluations of non-successful Proposals/SOQs
- Develop and prepare a draft Proposal/SOQ for review by the proposal team. The draft proposal is to include all overview or general firm sections, but will be absent of cost and technical approach considerations. Costing and technical approach will be performed by technical professionals
- Develop and prepare presentation materials to be incorporated into the Proposal/SOQ. This is to include required forms, organizational charts, flow diagrams, schedules and other graphics
- Create and Submit Agency/Municipality/Private Prequalification packages, as well as other governmental submissions, including SF330’s
- General preparation and maintenance of resumes, project summaries, detailed service sheets
- Assist with development and production of PowerPoint presentations for client interviews and public meetings
- Assist with tradeshow coordination and set up
- ACEC Award and Award Submissions
- QA/QC editing of all marketing materials used for presentation to clients
- Peer review of technical writing in reports, papers, trade journal articles, seminar presentations, etc.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 5+ years of Marketing in AEC field
- Excellent Computer Software Application Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Advanced Skills in Adobe Creative Suite
- Advanced Writing Skills
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Self-Starter, Driven, Motivated
- Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills - Team Oriented, People Person
- Experience with InDesign is desirable but not required
