What you’ll do:
Outgoing, hospitable, and passionate about creating exceptional experiences. You have a minimum of two years of recent bartending experience, preferably in a luxury hospitality, private club, fine dining, or upscale restaurant environment. You enjoy building genuine relationships with guests, anticipating their needs, and creating personalized experiences that keep them coming back.
This role requires someone who is equally comfortable behind the bar and providing elevated dinner service. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service while maintaining the Honorary Member Lounge to the highest standards. You thrive working independently, have excellent communication skills, are comfortable standing for long periods of time, and can lift up to 25 pounds. You have availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Build genuine relationships with Honorary Members by learning names, preferences, and delivering personalized service.
Craft and serve beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the food and beverage program to confidently answer questions, make recommendations, and create an elevated member experience.
- Provide attentive full beverage and dinner service, including taking orders, delivering food, clearing and resetting tables, and anticipating members' needs throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain an accurate cash bank and operate the point-of-sale system according to established procedures.
- Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, company policies, and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and member-ready bar and lounge while adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Complete opening and closing responsibilities, restock inventory, and ensure the Members Lounge is fully stocked, organized, and ready for service.
- Take pride in creating an elevated, welcoming experience that reflects the standards of The Twelve Thirty Club.
