The Opportunity
This is an Outside Sales Representative role built for someone who thrives on generating leads, building trade relationships, and closing deals. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, guiding prospects through the sales process, and partnering with internal teams to deliver high-end custom automation solutions across new luxury construction and renovation projects.
If your background is in construction sales, interior design, architecture, lighting sales or any product or service sold through builders, architects, and developers, this role will feel familiar — and offers a strong path into a growing, design-driven industry with significant long-term earning potential.

Core Responsibilities
Prospect and qualify new leads through networking, outbound outreach, referrals, and research into luxury residential projects
Own the full sales cycle: discovery calls, product demos, customized proposals, and closing
Build and maintain relationships with developers, architects, builders, and homeowners to uncover automation opportunities in new construction and renovation projects
Present home automation solutions including smart lighting, multi-room AV, climate control, security systems, and whole-home control platforms
Take a consultative approach tailored to each client's goals, design vision, and lifestyle preferences
Stay current on home automation trends and technology to communicate value clearly and competitively
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and service teams to ensure smooth handoffs and a strong client experience
Maintain detailed, accurate records of pipeline activity and client interactions in the CRM
Attend networking events, industry functions, and site visits to build visibility and stay ahead of upcoming projects
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Qualifications
2+ years of B2B or B2C sales experience, ideally within construction, building materials, real estate, smart home technology, AV systems, or a related trade industry
Proven track record of outbound lead generation and full-cycle sales success
Established relationships with developers, contractors, architects, or high-end homeowners is a strong advantage
Strong communication and presentation skills with a consultative, professional approach
Ability to translate technical solutions into simple, client-friendly terms
Organized and self-motivated with strong time management skills
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software
Bachelor's degree preferred, though equivalent professional experience is welcome
Willingness to travel locally for client meetings, site visits, and events
