- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions through in-person sessions or telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care.
- Collaborate closely with educators, caregivers, medical professionals, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize therapy outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, session notes, and treatment plans using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Stay current with medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in speech therapy to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training opportunities related to telehealth therapy techniques and working with individuals with disabilities across diverse settings.
Experience
- Enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Prior school experience working with children in educational or early intervention environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in pediatrics, early intervention, or working with geriatric patients is a plus.
- Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and experience delivering remote services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of speech therapy techniques, medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to communication disorders.
- Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment strategies tailored to individual goals.
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, families, educators, and healthcare teams.
