About the Role
Timberlane is seeking a Production Associate to join our manufacturing team in the Paint Area. This is a hands-on role in a modern production environment where you will help build custom exterior shutters using spray painting equipment, hand tools, power tools, and detailed work instructions.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in precision, and wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Prior painting woodworking or production experience is helpful, but just as important are reliability, attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a strong team mindset.
What You’ll Do
As a Production Associate, you will:
- Safely operate woodworking and production equipment.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble custom exterior shutters.
- Read and follow work instructions, measurements, and production details.
- Prepare, prime , scuff and paint products.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet Timberlane’s quality standards.
- Package and prepare completed products for shipment.
- Support other areas of production as needed.
- Work as part of a team to meet quality, safety, and delivery goals.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior painting, woodworking, manufacturing, assembly, or production experience.
- The ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to add and subtract fractions.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Ability to climb steps.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- A reliable, team-oriented attitude.
- A willingness to learn new skills and contribute wherever needed.
- A commitment to working safely and following established procedures.
