Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:45 PM, with a 45-minute lunch

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Rack Maintenance Technician to support the full lifecycle of rack repair and maintenance operations. This role is responsible for receiving, evaluating, repairing, tracking, and preparing racks for shipment while maintaining strict documentation, inventory control, and process compliance.

This position plays a key role in ensuring quality, traceability, and on-time turnaround of customer racks.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive racks from customers and verify shipments against the Bill of Lading (BOL).
  
  • Inspect incoming racks and document condition upon arrival.
  • Enter racks into the tracking system and update status throughout the repair process.
  • Review original rack drawings and specifications to determine repair requirements.
  • Estimate labor time and prepare material requirement lists.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Purchasing to confirm material availability.
  • Perform hands-on rack repairs according to original specifications.
  • Record labor hours, materials used, and work performed per rack.
  • Maintain accurate physical and digital documentation for each rack.
  • Prepare racks for shipment and coordinate outbound logistics.
  • Conduct monthly rack inventory and report discrepancies.
  • Follow established SOPs and safety standards at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States (valid work permit or status required).
  
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, fabrication, or mechanical repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience handling shipping/receiving documentation (BOL).
  • Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
  
  • Stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Work in warehouse and fabrication environments.
  • Use required PPE in compliance with OSHA standards.
