About Total Sono
Total Sono supports OB/GYN practices by providing high-quality obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound services delivered by skilled sonographers and guided by perinatologists. Our team plays an important role in helping patients understand what is happening in their pregnancy or their health, offering clarity during moments that can feel exciting, vulnerable, or both. We combine clinical excellence with a warm, patient-first approach, and we're looking for per diem MFM Sonographers who want to do meaningful work with a supportive clinical team.
What You'll Do
As an MFM Sonographer, you'll perform a wide range of routine, high-risk, and gynecologic ultrasound studies at our OB/GYN practices located in Hainesport (Monday (8-8), Tuesday (8-5) and Wednesday (8-8)). Your work helps patients and providers make timely, informed decisions throughout pregnancy and beyond. You'll have the opportunity to use your expertise across diverse patient scenarios, while working with perinatologists who review and collaborate on complex cases.
You'll perform studies such as:
- First trimester viability and early pregnancy evaluations
- Transvaginal cervical length assessments
- Second trimester fetal anatomy surveys
- Fetal growth, BPP, and Doppler assessments in the second and third trimester
- Targeted Level II studies and detailed imaging for high-risk pregnancies
- Specialized Doppler studies including Umbilical Artery and Middle Cerebral Artery Dopplers
- Nuchal translucency screenings
- 3D and 4D targeted fetal imaging
- Ultrasound assessments for gynecologic conditions including fibroids, cysts, pelvic pain, and abnormal bleeding
- The work is clinically varied and deeply impactful. You'll see everything from routine prenatal visits to complex high-risk cases, all while supporting patients during some of the most important moments of their pregnancy.
- You'll join a small, dedicated team where collaboration is valued and your expertise is recognized.
- You'll have per diem flexibility while still contributing to a consistent standard of care across partner practices.
- You'll work in an environment that prioritizes patient comfort, clear communication, and compassion.
- ARDMS registered in OB/GYN with current OBGYN experience including fetal anatomies. MFM/NT preferred.
- Experienced (minimum 2 years) in both routine and high-risk obstetrical imaging
- Confident performing gynecologic studies
- Comfortable working independently while partnering closely with physicians
- Patient-centered, calm under pressure, and committed to excellence in clinical care
- Competitive rates starting from $45-60/hour
- Supportive workflow with perinatologist oversight
- Opportunity to use a wide range of clinical skills
- A team that values professionalism, empathy, and strong communication
If you're a skilled MFM Sonographer looking for meaningful work that lets you practice at the top of your scope, we'd love to meet you!
