Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Cyber Security Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Cyber Programs Analyst.
As a Cyber Programs Analyst, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering cybersecurity projects that support enterprise security objectives. This role is focused on execution and delivery of defined projects, working closely with cybersecurity, technology, compliance, release management, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and aligned to organizational standards.
You will lead the day-to-day delivery of assigned cybersecurity projects, manage timelines, track risks and issues, coordinate dependencies, and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders. You will partner with cross-functional teams to support planning, execution, and implementation, while ensuring project artifacts, schedules, and deliverables are maintained accurately.
This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, a solid understanding of cybersecurity or IT delivery environments, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
What you’ll be doing
Primary Responsibilities
These are accountabilities you are solely responsible for and will execute daily/weekly:
Project Delivery & Coordination: Manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned cybersecurity projects, including schedules, milestones, action items, and deliverables. Ensure tasks are tracked, dependencies are monitored, and project commitments are met.
Agile Execution Support: Support agile delivery activities such as stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Help maintain backlog hygiene and track progress against sprint goals and timelines.
Risk & Issue Tracking: Identify, document, and monitor project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies. Escalate blockers appropriately and support corrective actions to keep work moving forward.
Status Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, highlighting timeline, scope, budget, risks, issues, and key decisions needed. Maintain reporting artifacts and dashboards as required.
Budget Tracking: Track projects spend and support budget monitoring by maintaining accurate records of labor, vendor, and technology costs. Escalate forecast variances or budget risks to leadership.
Release & Implementation Coordination: Coordinate with Release Management and related teams to support readiness, scheduling, and implementation activities for project deliverables.
Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors, procurement, and internal stakeholders to track deliverables, confirm milestones, and ensure contractual work is progressing as expected.
Compliance Support: Partner with compliance, risk, and governance teams to ensure project deliverables align with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory expectations.
Tool and Data Management: Maintain accurate project data in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar systems to support planning and reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cybersecurity, technology, compliance, and business partners to coordinate activities and remove delivery obstacles.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project execution, reporting, and coordination practices within the team.
Delivery Discipline: Help promote consistent use of project management practices, templates, and governance routines.
Process Improvement and Delivery Maturity: Identify and implement improvements to planning, execution, governance, and reporting processes that increase predictability, transparency, and efficiency across cybersecurity programs.
Coaching and Mentorship: Serve as a subject matter resource to project and program teams, sharing best practices and mentoring others on delivery methodology, risk management, and execution discipline.
Tooling and Data Integrity: Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and related platforms to manage plans, track progress, and maintain accurate program data and reporting.
Strategic Influence: Influence cybersecurity priorities, sequencing, and long-term planning by surfacing risks, tradeoffs, and investment implications to senior leadership.
Executive Escalation Management: Prepare clear recommendations and decision support materials for senior stakeholders when issues, conflicts, or tradeoffs require executive attention.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3 years of project management or delivery coordination experience in technology, cybersecurity, or IT environments.
Experience supporting or leading projects through the software development lifecycle.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and follow through on commitments.
Familiarity with project management tools and delivery processes.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Added bonus if you have
Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology operations.
Exposure to agile delivery practices and tools.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, or regulations.
Certifications such as CAPM, PMP, Scrum Master, or similar.
Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services or banking.
