While that cycle runs, you check features with hand metrology, start a second machine in your cell, and answer a quick question from a newer operator you’ve been mentoring. By the time you wrap, multiple machines have produced accurate parts, documentation is complete, and the handoff to the next team is seamless.
Your impact
- Operate CNC equipment and adjust offsets to meet print requirements using written setup instructions.
- Perform repetitive machining with consistency and strict quality focus.
- Interpret basic blueprints; align specs with inspection processes and documentation.
- Assist seasoned machinists with setups to accelerate changeovers.
- Apply foundational machining and control knowledge to keep production steady.
- Run multiple machines within a production cell to maximize output.
