Our ideal candidate is seeking to grow their knowledge on highway, roadway and bridge projects throughout NJ with agencies such as NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, DRPA, DRJTBC, and/or experience with Local County and State agencies.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Observe construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Prepare daily reports, quantity measurements and computations. Assist with progress reports and Pay Estimates.
- Communicate with the Senior Management to assist with meeting the project goals.
Job Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or at least 2 years of prior experience in Construction Inspection through internships or employment required.
- NICET all Levels a plus but not required.
- ACI, NJSAT, TCC, CCTC, and/or OSHA 10 a plus but not required.
- Able to work overtime, some nights, or weekends as needed.
- Ability to drive to and from, on, or around a project site during all times of the day.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License
Pay Range: $29/hour to $35/hour
