Key Responsibilities- Group Instruction: Deliver high-quality academic tutoring and enrichment to small groups of K-6 students.
- Curriculum Delivery: Implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that reinforce core subjects (reading, writing, and mathematics).
- Group Management: Maintain a positive, organized, and encouraging classroom environment that keeps young learners focused and motivated.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor student progress, adapt instruction to meet group learning needs, and provide constructive feedback.
- On-Site Collaboration: Work closely with school-site coordinators and classroom teachers to align tutoring efforts with current school curriculum.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a closely related field (Required).
- Preferred Education: Current teaching credential or active enrollment in a teacher preparation program is a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing academic tutoring, teaching, or similar instructional support (specifically working with elementary-aged youth in group environments).
- Delivery Mode: Must be available to work strictly in-person at our designated school site.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to connect naturally with children, parents, and school staff.
