We’re looking for a hybrid SEO/AEO specialist and AI systems builder who can own organic search and answer-engine strategy while designing Claude-powered workflows and agents that scale across the business. This is a hands-on role for someone who can both do the work and guide non-technical stakeholders in using AI effectively day to day.
Key ResponsibilitiesSEO / AEO Strategy and Execution
- Lead SEO and AEO strategy to grow organic visibility, traffic, and qualified leads across traditional search engines and emerging answer-based/AI search platforms.
- Conduct technical, on-page, content, entity, and SERP/AI landscape audits; define prioritized roadmaps and optimization plans.
- Research and target conversational, question-based, and intent-driven queries; structure content for snippets, answer boxes, and AI-generated answer panels.
- Collaborate with content, product, and design teams to brief, write, and optimize landing pages, blogs, and structured content aligned to search and answer intent.
- Partner with developers to implement technical SEO improvements (site architecture, performance, indexing, schema/structured data, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, etc.).
- Build and maintain internal frameworks for topical authority, internal linking, and structured data (FAQ, How-To, Product, etc.) that support both SEO and AEO.
Claude, AI Agents, and Workflows
- Use Claude and related AI platforms to design and implement AI workflows and “agents” that automate research, reporting, content operations, and knowledge work across teams.
- Architect multi-step, agentic workflows (using orchestration/automation tools) that combine Claude, APIs, and internal systems to reliably execute repeatable processes.
- Build reusable prompt frameworks, libraries, and usage guides so non-technical users can self-serve common tasks with Claude while maintaining quality and safety.
- Design, refine, and test prompts for research, analysis, summarization, content generation, and decision support, with a focus on consistency and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate real business workflows into Claude-powered assistants (e.g., reporting assistants, content prep bots, internal knowledge agents).
- Monitor and continuously improve AI workflows via evaluation, edge-case testing, and failure analysis (hallucinations, robustness, safety boundaries).
Analytics, Reporting, and Enablement
- Own SEO/AEO performance dashboards and reporting; track rankings, traffic, engagement, and answer visibility across search and AI platforms.
- Run experiments and A/B tests on content and AI workflows; turn results into clear recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Educate and enable internal teams on best practices for SEO, AEO, and AI usage through training sessions, playbooks, and office hours.
SEO / AEO
- 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience with proven results in traffic growth, rankings, and conversion impact across multiple sites or clients.
- Practical experience with AEO and AI search: featured snippets, entity optimization, AI-generated answers, and answer-based discovery platforms.
- Strong technical SEO skills: crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data/schema, site architecture, internal linking, log file analysis, and robots directives.
- Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, Semrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Looker/Data Studio or similar).
- Comfortable collaborating with engineering and product teams to scope and ship technical optimizations.
Claude, AI Agents, and Automation
- Deep, practical experience using Claude as a daily work partner (Claude 3 family or later), including prompt design, tool use, and structured outputs.
- Demonstrated experience building AI-powered workflows or assistants (e.g., with orchestration tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or comparable internal automation stacks).
- Strong understanding of LLM behavior: context management, system vs. user prompts, safety constraints, and output evaluation.
- Comfort working with APIs and webhooks to connect Claude and other LLMs into existing tools and data sources (not full-stack required, but technically fluent enough to own integrations conceptually).
General
- Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex technical and AI concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and drive initiatives from concept to measurable impact.
- High curiosity about how AI is reshaping search, content, and knowledge work, and eagerness to stay current as tools and best practices evolve.
- Experience optimizing for AI-native search and discovery platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or similar) as part of an overall SEO/AEO strategy.
- Background in B2B SaaS, multi-site environments, or heavily content-driven businesses.
- Experience with basic scripting (Python, JavaScript) for data manipulation, reporting, or light automation.
- Prior work setting up or contributing to internal AI centers of excellence, governance, or best-practice programs.
Within the first 6–12 months, you:
- Deliver and execute a clear SEO/AEO roadmap that measurably improves organic visibility, qualified traffic, and answer-engine presence across core properties.
- Design and deploy a portfolio of Claude-powered workflows and agents that materially reduce manual work, improve speed/quality of outputs, and are actively used by multiple teams.
- Establish internal standards, playbooks, and training that raise the organization’s overall competency in both SEO/AEO and AI-assisted work.
