Summary of Job Duties:
- Possess the ability to work well with students
- Tutor in English composition I and II and Literature
- Ability to provide personalized attention in the areas of writing, grammar, proper citation and utilizing references for general writing skills.
- Assist in topics using time management, goalsetting, learning styles, blackboard, Library resources.
- Assist and conduct class pre- and post- assessments.
- Help maintain cleanliness of the tutor lab to meet CDC Guidelines before and after class.
- Document students individual progress maintain student attendance records.
- Contact supervisor in advance when unable to come in for work.
- Perform other Duties as requested.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in education, math or related field-Masters preferred
Two or more years teaching on the college level-preferred
Experience developing curriculum-preferred
Demonstrate the ability to use basic computer programs that are applicable in a college setting.
