The Vermont Crisis Intervention Network (VCIN), a division of Upper Valley Services (UVS), is seeking a dedicated DSP Support Manager to lead and support our Direct Support Professional team. VCIN has earned an outstanding reputation throughout Vermont for providing innovative, life-changing crisis intervention services that help individuals build stability, independence, and hope.
About the Role
This hands-on leadership position supervises DSP Leads and DSPs while ensuring individuals receive healthy, safe, and person-centered supports. The successful candidate will mentor staff, support quality service delivery, implement clinician-developed programs, and work directly with individuals served by VCIN.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, coach, and train DSP staff.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centered supports and services.
- Hold regular supervision meetings and provide ongoing training.
- Support implementation of programs developed by VCIN clinicians.
- Maintain accurate documentation and program data.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Clinicians, Nursing Staff, and Directors.
- Assist with staffing coverage and emergency response as needed.
- Promote individual rights, dignity, safety, and growth.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required, bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in developmental disabilities, crisis care, residential care, or related human services.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, advocacy, organizational, and coaching skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in high-stress environments.
- Valid driver license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record required.

Compensation
- Starting pay: $30.00 per hour
- Regular overtime opportunities are available and often required.
- Sleep time is compensated at the full hourly rate, including overtime when applicable.
- Employees typically earn $1,560+ per week, with higher earnings available based on overtime and additional hours worked.
