Position Responsibilities:
The wellfield maintenance technician position will be responsible for a variety of duties associated with maintaining the condition of wells and wellfield equipment, and general maintenance activities. Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Cleaning newly installed cased wells using swabbing or airlifting techniques.
- Swabbing or airlifting existing wells in operating wellfields for stimulation purposes.
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain downhole submersible pumps and motors.
- Mechanical integrity testing of cased wells in new and operating wellfields.
- Document and maintain well swabbing, airlifting and integrity testing records.
- Conduct the proper maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
Job Requirements:
- This is an hourly paid position that will involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Job training will be provided for this position.
- Must be able to recognize hazardous conditions, follow company safety policies and practices and to engage in a strong safety culture.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Applicants must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing as a prerequisite to employment.
- A high school diploma and knowledge of maintenance skills are required.
- A valid driver’s license is required – willingness to obtain a Class A CDL is beneficial.
- Must have the ability to safely work independently, as well as a part of a team setting.
- Must have the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Basic maintenance skills are required.
