OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for the delivery of client services on an account team. The Sr. Consultant is focused on both technical & client handling skills, with a heavier focus on client handling and relationship building.
- Lead channel-aligned engagement and serve as the primary liaison to OEM Field teams, building trusted relationships that influence dealer behavior, accelerate enrollment, and improve retention.
- Own a portfolio of high-profile dealership accounts, building strong client relationships, fostering ongoing engagement, and driving renewals and additional solution enrollments.
- Execute strategic outreach and engagement plans informed by Field and dealer insights, delivering clear value narratives, supporting field events, and driving increased adoption, utilization, and overall program impact
This role has current Hybrid Workplace flexibility local to our Detroit, MI office location. Candidates must be available and willing to work in-person Mondays and Wednesdays. If you're ready to grow your skills and make an impact, we’d love to meet you.

- Plans, organizes, develops, and delivers client-requested reports, deliverables, and projects on time, adhering to client requested specifications.
- Designs, creates, and manages client databases, utilizing Urban Science proprietary software, ensuring accurate and high-quality data.
- Assists management in creating estimates and proposals for clients to better understand the proposal process.
- Serves as a contact for, and develops relationships with, the client to effectively respond to client requests and inquiries in a timely manner and help improve client satisfaction.
- Acquires and maintains a thorough understanding of client data for assigned projects to properly create client deliverables.
- Tracks, processes, analyzes and verifies data to improve accuracy and quality.
- Assume responsibility for accurate and high-quality data being utilized on assigned projects.
- Accurately performs application coding and testing functions associated with the development of custom client software.
- Use technical skills to accurately update and maintain Urban Science internal software systems.
- Adheres to quality control standards for Urban Science and client organizations.
- Coordinates with individuals or teams to complete analyses, tasks, and projects on time and with high quality.
- Attends project meetings and participates in presenting project status updates to client representatives or internal management to clearly communicate project status, conclusions, and results.
- Proactively communicates with management to provide updates and report issues in a timely manner.
- Actively works with manager to understand and implement solutions to improve NPS (client satisfaction).
- Partners with internal teams to ensure that software is properly installed, set up and functioning at established quality levels.
- Actively supports and participates in required Urban Science training programs to achieve targeted development objectives.
- Works with manager in completing annual goal setting and performance review promptly.
- Works with manager to prioritize other duties as assigned.
In preparation of possible future supervisory responsibilities, this person may be called upon to do the following for assigned staff:

- MS Office: Requires demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel for charting and graphing of data, writing formulas and utilizing functions, and filtering, sorting and formatting of data; requires intermediate knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Access; knowledge and experience with Visio preferred
- Technical/Software: Requires the ability to understand and work with software tools & packages used by Urban Science

- Project Management: Project management skills strongly preferred, including the ability to estimate work efforts, define work plans, delegate work, monitor progress and report schedule variances and scope changes; requires the ability to follow established internal PMO procedures and present project conclusions to management; proficiency with MS Project preferred
- Sales & Business Development: Ability to identify potential new opportunities from the client and proactively communicate those opportunities to management is required; knowledge and understanding of sales and business development processes is strongly preferred
- Budget/Finance: Ability to understand and interpret margins, revenues and cost sheets is strongly preferred
- Negotiation: Knowledge and understanding of pricing, scope, cost estimates and internal/external impacts is strongly preferred
- University degree required; technical degree required (i.e., engineering, applied math, statistics, applied science, information systems, operations research, etc.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent foreign institution. Non-technical degrees will be considered if candidate possesses appropriate level of analytical and technical knowledge required for the role
- Minimum of 4 years related work experience required (6 years' experience preferred)
