Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Service Technician - Solar to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of solar systems.
- Provide electrical solutions and support for residential solar installations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely updates and efficient workflow.
- Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting using Salesforce Field Services.
- Deliver excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in the residential solar industry, with expertise in troubleshooting and providing electrical solutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SolarEdge and Enphase systems; battery experience is a plus.
- Licensing: Electrical Licensing preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Software Proficiency: Experience using Salesforce Field Services is advantageous.
- Certifications: OSHA-10 certification and a general understanding of overall safety requirements.
- Other Requirements: Attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and collaborate with teammates on field and project status.
Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver's license and meet the criteria to be insured under the company's vehicle insurance policy.
