Visual Image Photography is hiring a full-time Photography Project Assistant to work in our corporate office in Cedarburg, WI.

JOB SUMMARY

Be the beating heart of our photography workflow! We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to ensure every image moves seamlessly from camera to client across our multi-studio network. Your role will directly impact how families, schools, and communities receive cherished memories—from championship sports moments to graduation milestones.

WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO:

• Photography Job Preparation: cut and organize camera cards for photo jobs, track progress of job coordination
• Special Projects: use software to design, proof, and order image products for school clients
• Image Production: Process files, implement quality checks, match subjects using our systems
• Workflow Coordination: Prepare packages for shipping, track projects across markets, resolve bottlenecks, support coordination between our studios in the region

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines in a high-volume production environment.
• Expertise in critical thinking and complex problem resolution.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with CRM or Project Management tools.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of adaptability, independent initiative, and successful team collaboration.

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Physical ability to perform the demands of the role, including extended periods of computer work.
• High school diploma or equivalent

COMPENSATION

• Salary: $16-20/hour depending on experience

We are a third generation family owned business.

In 1950, William Hayes opened a studio in Shorewood, WI. His son, Tom Hayes purchased Hayes Studio in 1972. Visual Image Photography was started in 1978 by Tom Hayes. Our goal since we began has been to take the best picture possible every time we press the shutter. In 2016, Tom's daughter Courtney became the new owner of VIP when he retired. The foundation of being committed to creating beautiful portraits continues to be a family tradition for over 75 years.

Our work culture is built on a team oriented mindset that has fun and brings a smile to the job everyday. Teaching new photographers the skills to create beautiful portraits, and helping our current staff to continue developing their skills is important to our company.
