- Builds Product Backlogs for the associated Product Development Teams, defining Features, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria that translate the business requirements into technical requirements for development teams.
- Collaborates closely with Scrum Masters, Product Development Teams and Application Owners to ensure efficient and high-quality execution of Product Development.
- Defines Testing Plans for enhancements and releases, including UAT and working with QA to minimize defects and production support.
- Manages the Release Planning – End User Training, Demonstrations and Outage and Go-Live Communications.
- Leads Outcome Tracking – informs product decisions throughout the lifecycle based on value creation and realization.
- Tracks Product Outcomes – ensures a high quality product is developed and is adopted and utilized effectively.
- Identifies, benchmarks and tracks Operational Outcomes – collaborates with Buyer and End User on the operational outcomes that are critical to success, and tracks KPIs throughout a Product Lifecycle.
- Ensures Value Realization – Assumes Product and Operational Outcomes are being met, ensures the connected business outcomes are being realized.
- Proactively works with internal customers to ensure that emerging needs are met, and value is being continuously delivered
- Manages risk, and ensures alignment and adherence to corporate, financial and IT standards (e.g., architecture, compliance, security). • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications:
Scrum Certified Product Owner certification preferred
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience, required
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, business systems, or technology delivery.
- 3+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, healthcare data, and regulatory considerations.
- Experience working with healthcare systems, integrations, platforms, or digital products.
- Ability to translate complex business processes into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience working with engineering teams and technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of APIs, data integrations, system architecture concepts, and enterprise platforms. Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Pay Range
USD $109,900.00 - USD $146,500.00 /Yr.
