ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

What you’ll do
- Sales Leadership: Drive and deliver key financial results by expanding core and complementary products and services, maximizing sales year-over-year while maintaining appropriate profit margins. Success means consistently achieving or exceeding revenue, profit, and market share growth targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities by providing professional, efficient customer service, including accurate quotations, understanding customer pain points, product recommendations, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Daily activities include engaging with customers and building strong rapport.
- Strategic Planning: Maintain and update strategic business plans; collaborate routinely with management to develop sales strategies and goals that support local markets and maximize market potential.
- Inventory Coordination: Support inventory management by working directly with Supply Chain teams to meet inventory targets, ensuring product availability aligns with customer demand.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% domestically to visit customers, vendors, and regional headquarters, primarily within Finland and potentially northern mining regions.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

What you’ll bring
Must-haves:
- Sales, commercial, or market growth experience, ideally within the mining or related industries.
- Excellent computer skills, including ERP systems and MS Office software proficiency.
- Exceptional communication skills in Finnish and English, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Nice-to-haves:
- Industry experience in mining sales or operations, especially in maintenance and repair.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
- Experience working in office, shop, warehouse, and mine-site environments.
- Familiarity with ground engaging tools (GET), buckets, and construction/mining equipment.
- Ability to work autonomously within a small, supportive team environment.
