The Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at Wellesley College invite applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the level of assistant professor in the fields of Sexuality Studies, Queer Studies, and Trans Studies. In particular we seek a candidate whose work and teaching centers an intersectional approach. The ideal candidate must be able to teach introductory courses in Women’s and Gender Studies, Queer Studies, and Trans Studies. They must demonstrate excellence in teaching across a breadth of interests appropriate to a liberal arts undergraduate institution.This position involves a four course per year teaching load.
