What You'll Do
- Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and other construction materials.
- Conduct construction materials testing in accordance with ASTM, ACI, ICC, and GDOT standards.
- Perform reinforcing steel (rebar) inspections.
- Support commercial, industrial, transportation, and infrastructure projects.
- Operate nuclear density gauges, compression machines, coring equipment, and other testing equipment.
- Prepare accurate field reports and inspection documentation.
- Communicate with contractors, engineers, project managers, and clients.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to lift 70 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred
Current certifications in one or more of the following:
- GDOT Roadway Testing Technician (RTT)
- ICC Special Inspector
- Reinforcing Steel (Rebar)
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I
- Nuclear Density Gauge
- NICET
Experience with GDOT transportation projects is highly preferred.
