POSITION SUMMARY
Accepts accountable for the smooth functioning of daily parts operations including Parts Deliveries, Ordering, Parts Counter functions, Receiving and Payables processing. Works daily with all internal contacts within the parts department to ensure flawless execution in all operational areas. Performs all duties associated with Parts Operations within the Parts Departments. Accepts, administers and positively supports the activities that are expected of each Parts Department Employee as assigned by the company. Works in conjunction with the Central Support team to optimize inventory levels, manages the warehouse activities to ensure receiving and QOH system integrity and also works to develop a best in class delivery program for all customers. This position takes the operational burden off of sales to ensure overall sales growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participates in Employee Evaluations in accordance with company timelines for completion • Trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all parts department employees • Works with the sales operations to ensure all customers are supported and new customers are identified as target accounts. • Attends all sales meetings, ensuring a continuity exists between sales and operations • Monitors Warranty take-off parts to ensure all parts are controlled and there are no losses • Works with the Service and / or Body shop to ensure internal parts needs are met • Focuses on inventory health, ensuring the company assets are managed and the branches inventory health scoring is acceptable • Monitors special order parts activities and makes sure that all special-order parts are pre-paid • Daily monitors hold tickets ensuring company standards are met • Conducts a daily “Huddle” with all parts operations to ensure issues or opportunities are communicated • Assists the Parts Manager in conducting Monthly Crew meetings to communicate customer focus, Operational opportunities and address operational changes. • Works with OEM representatives as needed • Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES / ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
• Reports to the Branch Parts Manager
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Success as a Parts Counter Salesperson • Functional knowledge of HD truck dealership Parts Operations • Experience managing a team a plus

• Ability to work with others in a team environment and fosters healthy working relationships • Ability to give and take directions in a fast-paced work environment • Stays focused on and completes assigned tasks in a timely manner • Consistency in reinforcing defined activities that drive desired results • Customer friendly appearance and mannerism, Represent the company in a professional manner
