We're currently seeking a California-licensed Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to join one of our growing practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a podiatrist who enjoys working in Skilled Nursing Facilities while expanding into a specialized wound care practice.

About the Role
You'll provide comprehensive podiatric care to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
Starting in October, you'll also spend one consistent day each week at our outpatient wound care clinic, working alongside wound care specialists and expanding your expertise in advanced wound management.
Weekly Schedule
- 2 consistent days per week providing podiatric care at Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs)
- 1 consistent day per week at our Wound Care Clinic/Practice beginning in October
- No weekends
What You'll Do
- Provide routine foot care and comprehensive podiatric evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat foot and ankle conditions using non-surgical approaches.
- Perform wound care, including diabetic foot ulcer management.
- Perform minor bedside procedures such as ingrown toenail removals.
- Conduct patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on foot health and preventative care.
What We're Looking For
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), long-term care, or mobile podiatry is preferred
- Wound care experience is a plus
- Comfortable working independently while traveling between facilities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Willingness to travel throughout assigned territories
Requirements
- Active California DPM License (Required)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to travel between facilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Model: 45% of production.
- Estimated Monthly Compensation (SNF Schedule): $5,000–$6,000/month for working 2 consistent days per week in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Additional Compensation: A separate compensation rate will apply for providers who also work 1 day per week at our outpatient Podiatry/Wound Care Clinic beginning in October. Details will be discussed during the interview process.
- Mileage Reimbursement: Mileage is reimbursed when traveling from the first facility to each subsequent facility during the workday.
