- Master’s degree or higher in Radiologic Sciences, Medical Imaging, Health Sciences, Education, or a closely related field (doctorate preferred or required based on faculty rank).
- Current certification and registration in Radiography through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Eligibility for any required Ohio licensure or authorization prior to employment.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in radiologic imaging.
- Demonstrated teaching, leadership, or administrative experience in radiologic imaging or allied health education.
- Demonstrated ability to meet qualifications required to serve as Program Director under applicable accreditation standards.
- Doctoral degree in a related discipline.
- Previous experience as a Program Director, Clinical Coordinator, or faculty member in a radiologic imaging program.
- Experience with accreditation, assessment, curriculum development, and continuous quality improvement.
- Experience developing and maintaining clinical education partnerships.
- Experience with simulation, laboratory instruction, and educational technology.
- Teach didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical courses within the Radiological Imaging curriculum.
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies that promote critical thinking, clinical competence, and professional practice.
- Advise and mentor students to support academic success and career readiness.
- Develop and maintain course materials and assess student learning outcomes.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Program Administration – 30%
- Serve as Program Director for the Radiological Imaging program.
- Provide leadership for curriculum planning, implementation, assessment, and continuous program improvement.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and applicable accreditation, certification, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate program assessment, annual reporting, accreditation activities, and preparation for accreditation reviews.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with clinical affiliates to support student clinical education.
- Support student recruitment, admissions, progression, retention, and graduation initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty and department leadership on strategic planning, scheduling, budgeting, equipment, and resource needs.
- Serve on departmental, college, and university committees.
- Participate in professional organizations and continuing education activities.
- Support student recruitment, community outreach, and workforce development initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare partners to strengthen clinical education opportunities and program visibility.
