Essential functions of a product trainer are:
- Provide Zywave product training via webinars and in-person sessions.
- Collaborate with Instructional Designers to develop the standard curriculum for Zywave products
- Collaborate with Project Managers as needed to develop custom training plans for unique customer implementations.
- Maintain the accuracy of training content by completing an annual curriculum audit.
- Process recorded sessions, as needed, supporting the on-demand curriculum.
- Assist with product releases, supporting the creation of new materials and/or updating existing materials.
- Travel to customer locations to deliver in-person training as needed.
- Actively pursue self-development activities to stay up to date on presentation skills and adult learning principles.
- Keep current on insurance trends and legislative developments that impact the design and administration of insurance and employee benefit plans.
- Perform other tasks on projects as needed/assigned by management to make Zywave the best in our business.
Skills You Should Have:
- College degree or 3 years experience in insurance, training, education or a related field.
- Demonstrated skills in training, influencing others, group/individual presentations, and client interfacing.
- Ability to understand and apply principles of adult learning to training development and delivery.
- Ability to simultaneously manage several projects to successful completion.
- Knowledge of group insurance/administration and either health benefits or property & casualty/risk management is desired.
- Advanced demonstrated skills in general internet and Windows technology.
- Demonstrated skills in group/individual presentations, which should include both oral and written communications.
- Some travel may be necessary.
- Must have a personal credit card for reimbursable travel expenses.
