-
Own Complex Prioritization Across Merchants & Stakeholders: Balance customer needs, marketing strategy, and contractual commitments while managing competing priorities.
-
Lead End-to-End GTM with Strategic Rigor: Own GTM strategy including positioning, segmentation, messaging, and measurement ensuring execution is grounded in clear strategic intent while remaining adaptable to evolving business needs.
-
Build Scalable Systems & Raise the Bar: Develop repeatable frameworks that improve execution, efficiency, and consistency.
-
Be a Thought Leader & Driver of Innovation: Introduce new approaches that improve effectiveness across teams.
-
Operate with Agility and Bias for Learning: Navigate ambiguity and take on unfamiliar challenges with confidence.
-
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner across Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Analytics to ensure execution.
-

Frame Your PMM Experience Around Fintech Narratives
Affirm evaluates PMM candidates on their ability to translate complex financial products into consumer-facing messaging. Tailor your portfolio to show launches in regulated or trust-sensitive categories, not just general SaaS or e-commerce work.
Target Roles Aligned With Affirm's Product Verticals
Affirm structures PMM hiring around product lines like merchant partnerships, consumer lending, and Affirm Card. Applying to roles tied to a specific vertical signals focus and increases your chances of landing on a team actively headcounting.
Prepare Your Specialty Occupation Evidence Early
For H-1B sponsorship, USCIS requires the PMM role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Gather documentation showing your degree is in marketing, communications, or a related field, and that the role requires that specific background.
Use Migrate Mate to Track Affirm PMM Openings
Affirm posts PMM roles across multiple product teams at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter and monitor open Product Marketing Manager positions at Affirm that are verified for visa sponsorship, so you're not manually checking job boards.

Find Product Marketing Manager at Affirm JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Affirm sponsor H-1B visas for Product Marketing Managers?
Yes, Affirm sponsors H-1B visas for Product Marketing Manager roles. The company has an established process for filing H-1B petitions through USCIS and has supported candidates in this function across multiple hiring cycles. If you're already in the U.S. on a valid work authorization, confirm sponsorship intent with the recruiter early in the process, as approval is role- and team-dependent.
How do I apply for Product Marketing Manager jobs at Affirm?
Apply directly through Affirm's careers page, where PMM roles are listed by product vertical. Tailor your resume to highlight go-to-market experience in financial services or consumer fintech. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse and track Affirm's open Product Marketing Manager positions that are verified for visa sponsorship, which saves time filtering through listings manually.
Which visa types does Affirm commonly use for Product Marketing Manager roles?
Affirm sponsors H-1B, TN, and employment-based Green Card pathways (EB-2 and EB-3) for PMM roles. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported, making Affirm accessible to international students in their final year or recent graduates. H-1B is the most common long-term path, with USCIS processing timelines typically running three to six months under standard adjudication.
What qualifications does Affirm look for in Product Marketing Manager candidates?
Affirm typically expects a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications, combined with experience in product marketing at a fintech, payments, or financial services company. Strong candidates demonstrate the ability to develop positioning for complex financial products, run cross-functional launches, and work with data to measure campaign effectiveness. Experience with consumer lending or credit products is a meaningful differentiator.
How do I plan my timeline if Affirm is sponsoring my H-1B as a new hire?
The H-1B cap filing window opens each April for an October 1 start date. If you're graduating or your OPT is running out, you'll want a start date and offer letter confirmed by March at the latest so Affirm's legal team can file before the deadline. USCIS allows cap-gap protection if your OPT expires while your H-1B petition is pending, which covers most candidates who receive timely offers.
