Align Your Portfolio to Simulation Data
Applied Intuition's data science work centers on autonomous vehicle simulation and sensor data. Before applying, build or document projects involving time-series data, large-scale sensor pipelines, or ML model validation to signal direct relevance.
Flag Your Degree Field During Screening
H-1B specialty occupation approval depends on your degree aligning with the role. For data science positions at an autonomous systems company, degrees in statistics, computer science, or electrical engineering map most cleanly to USCIS's specialty occupation definition.
Target Applied Intuition Through Migrate Mate
Search for Data Science Engineer openings at Applied Intuition directly on Migrate Mate, which filters jobs by visa type so you can identify roles open to your specific sponsorship category before investing time in a full application.
Prepare for a Longer Timeline if Requesting Premium Processing
USCIS offers H-1B premium processing with a 15-business-day adjudication window. Confirm with Applied Intuition's HR team early whether they elect premium processing, since your start date planning depends on that decision, especially if you're between OPT and cap-subject status.

Find Data Science Engineer at Applied Intuition JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Applied Intuition sponsor H-1B visas for Data Science Engineers?
Yes, Applied Intuition sponsors H-1B visas for Data Science Engineer roles. The company participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery each April and also sponsors H-1B transfers for candidates already holding an approved H-1B with another employer. If you're currently on OPT, they can support the transition once a lottery selection is confirmed.
Which visa types are commonly used for Data Science Engineer roles at Applied Intuition?
Applied Intuition sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas for Data Science Engineer positions, as well as employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. Australian citizens can use the E-3 visa, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under the TN category for data science roles.
How do I apply for Data Science Engineer jobs at Applied Intuition?
Browse open Data Science Engineer positions at Applied Intuition on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles filtered by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm your category is supported before applying. Applied Intuition's hiring process typically includes a technical screen, a take-home or live coding assessment focused on data engineering or ML workflows, and a final systems design round.
What qualifications does Applied Intuition look for in Data Science Engineer candidates?
Applied Intuition looks for strong foundations in machine learning, data pipeline engineering, and statistical modeling, often applied to sensor or simulation datasets. A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field is standard. Experience with Python, SQL, and distributed data systems is consistently emphasized across their job postings for this function.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Data Science Engineer role at Applied Intuition?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, the cap lottery opens each March for an October 1 start date, so roles accepted before March allow the most runway. F-1 OPT holders can start sooner if their authorization covers the onboarding date. For E-3 and TN candidates, processing can complete in weeks, making those timelines significantly more flexible than the H-1B cycle.
