The Global Languages and Cultures Department seeks an instructor to teach 1-2 sections of beginning French. The professor is expected to be able to teach in any possible teaching modality (face-to-face, online synchronous, online asynchronous) to fulfill specific department needs as they arise.
Minimum Degree Requirements
A master's degree from an accredited institution in the language of specialization (Arabic, ASL, Chinese, French, Mixtec, or Spanish) or a related field.

Placement into a range is based on qualifications and experience. Initial assignments are typically at the bottom third of the salary range. The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated in the schedules above are prorated to the number of units worked and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
