Align your credentials to NIST frameworks
Deloitte's consulting engagements frequently reference NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, and related federal standards. Certifications like CISSP, CCIE Security, or CompTIA Security+ that map to these frameworks strengthen your specialty occupation case for H-1B filing.
Target Deloitte's federal practice units
Deloitte's Government and Public Services division handles large federal security contracts requiring cleared or clearance-eligible engineers. These roles often have more consistent sponsorship pathways because the hiring need is project-driven and well-documented for DOL Labor Condition Applications.
Search sponsor-verified openings on Migrate Mate
Filter Senior Network Security Engineer openings at Deloitte on Migrate Mate to surface roles where sponsorship has been confirmed. This saves you from applying to postings where visa support is ambiguous or handled inconsistently across Deloitte's business units.
Request a transfer memo before your 60-day window closes
If you're moving from another employer on H-1B, file Deloitte's transfer petition before your grace period expires. H-1B portability lets you start work once USCIS receives the petition, but Deloitte's legal team needs your prior I-94 and approval notice to proceed quickly.
Prepare a role-specific specialty occupation argument
USCIS scrutinizes broad job titles in professional services. Work with Deloitte's immigration counsel to document that your Senior Network Security Engineer duties require a specific technical degree, not a general business or IT background, to satisfy specialty occupation standards.
Clarify EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship timing during the offer stage
Deloitte sponsors permanent residence for long-term hires, but PERM labor certification timelines vary by role and location. Ask your recruiter directly whether green card sponsorship begins after a defined tenure so you can plan against your current visa's expiration.

Find Senior Network Security Engineer at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Senior Network Security Engineers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Senior Network Security Engineers. The role qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information security, or a related technical field. Sponsorship availability can vary by business unit and project need, so confirming support early in the recruiting process is practical.
How do I apply for Senior Network Security Engineer jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal at deloitte.com/careers. You can also browse Senior Network Security Engineer openings at Deloitte that have confirmed visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate, which filters roles specifically for candidates who need work authorization. Tailoring your resume to highlight network security frameworks, certifications, and any federal or enterprise consulting experience improves your chances of clearing initial screening.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for Senior Network Security Engineers?
Deloitte files H-1B petitions most frequently for this role, but also sponsors H-1B1 visas for Chilean and Singaporean nationals and E-3 visas for Australian citizens. For candidates on a long-term path, Deloitte supports EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through PERM labor certification, typically after a period of employment. Confirm which category applies to your nationality when you receive an offer.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Senior Network Security Engineer roles?
Deloitte typically expects a bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or electrical engineering, plus substantial hands-on experience in network security architecture, firewall management, intrusion detection systems, and enterprise infrastructure protection. Certifications such as CISSP, CCIE Security, or relevant vendor credentials carry significant weight. For roles supporting federal clients, eligibility for a U.S. security clearance is frequently listed as a requirement.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take at Deloitte for this role?
For a standard H-1B petition, USCIS regular processing takes four to six months from filing. If Deloitte opts for premium processing, the initial adjudication decision comes within 15 business days, which is common for time-sensitive start dates. PERM labor certification for Green Card sponsorship adds one to two years before an I-140 petition can be filed, so starting that conversation early matters.
