JOB DETAILS
Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk with a minimum of two years of experience to join a fast-paced and collaborative team. This role is ideal for a professional who takes pride in accuracy, demonstrates strong data entry skills, and maintains a high level of organization and accountability in their work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Perform data entry and coding of invoices into the accounting system
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment status and inquiries
- Assist with check runs, ACH payments, and month-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
- Minimum of two years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Dependable, professional, and able to meet deadlines consistently
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
