Align your credentials to U.S. trade standards
Construction roles at GroundSystems fall under facilities and property services, where employers verify trade qualifications against U.S. standards. Get your foreign credentials evaluated by a NACES-approved agency before applying so your experience translates clearly on your application.
Target open roles by specific construction function
GroundSystems hires across multiple construction functions, not just general labor. Search by specific trade or project type rather than broad construction titles to surface the roles most likely to match your background and the company's active sponsorship track.
Understand how H-2B timing affects your application
H-2B visas are tied to USCIS's semi-annual cap and require DOL certification before USCIS filing. If GroundSystems is hiring for seasonal or project-based construction work, confirm whether the role falls within a current cap period before committing to a timeline.
Prepare for PERM documentation early in EB-3 conversations
EB-3 sponsorship for construction workers requires a PERM labor certification from DOL, which demands detailed employment and wage records. Have your employment history, pay stubs, and any union or apprenticeship documentation organized before discussions reach the offer stage.
Clarify the visa pathway before signing an offer
GroundSystems sponsors both EB-2/EB-3 and H-2B, and the right pathway depends on your role type, duration, and country of birth. Ask the recruiter directly which visa category applies to your position so you're not surprised by retrogression or cap issues after signing.
Browse GroundSystems construction roles through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter and find open construction positions at GroundSystems that come with verified visa sponsorship. This saves time by surfacing only roles where sponsorship is already confirmed, so you're not cold-applying to positions that won't support your immigration needs.

Find Construction at GroundSystems JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does GroundSystems sponsor H-1B visas for Construction roles?
H-1B sponsorship is not the primary pathway for Construction roles at GroundSystems. Construction positions in facilities and property services typically require trade skills rather than the specialized theoretical degree knowledge that H-1B requires. GroundSystems is more active with H-2B for temporary construction work and EB-2/EB-3 for workers pursuing permanent residence through an employment-based Green Card.
Which visa types does GroundSystems commonly use for Construction roles?
GroundSystems sponsors construction workers through two main pathways: H-2B for temporary or seasonal project-based positions, and EB-2/EB-3 for workers pursuing permanent residency. H-2B requires DOL labor certification and is subject to USCIS's semi-annual cap, while EB-3 involves a PERM process. The right pathway depends on your role type, duration of work, and long-term immigration goals.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Construction jobs at GroundSystems?
GroundSystems operates in the facilities and property services sector, so construction roles typically require demonstrated trade experience rather than formal academic degrees. Relevant licenses, certifications, or apprenticeship completion records strengthen your application. For foreign credentials, a NACES-approved evaluation that maps your qualifications to U.S. equivalents helps recruiters and USCIS adjudicators assess your background accurately.
How do I apply for Construction jobs at GroundSystems?
Start by finding open construction positions at GroundSystems on Migrate Mate, which filters for roles with confirmed visa sponsorship so you're targeting the right opportunities from the start. Once you identify a role, tailor your application to the specific trade function listed, include any relevant U.S. or U.S.-equivalent certifications, and be prepared to discuss visa pathway preferences early in the recruiter conversation.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for Construction roles at GroundSystems?
Timeline depends heavily on the visa type. H-2B certification through DOL typically takes several weeks, followed by USCIS adjudication, and you must apply within the semi-annual cap window. EB-3 Green Card sponsorship is longer, often one to several years, because it requires PERM labor certification from DOL before the USCIS petition stage. Starting conversations with GroundSystems well before your current status expires is essential.
