These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
- Thorough familiarity with aerospace design and regulatory standards (e.g., FAA, EASA) such as DO-160G, MIL-STD-810, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience with hand-calculation methods for preliminary and verification analysis of complex mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing fundamentals, including advanced GD&T concepts and application for mechanisms.
- Proven capability to take designs from concept through to analysis and production, working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Education
- Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or similar engineering discipline.
Base Pay Range:

Job Roles at Heart Aerospace Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Heart Aerospace Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and technical roles first
Heart Aerospace's sponsorship activity is concentrated in specialized technical disciplines. Focus your search on roles in electrical systems, aircraft certification, propulsion, and software, the functions most aligned with their electric aviation development work.
Understand the H-1B specialty occupation standard
Heart Aerospace sponsors H-1B visas, which require your role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Aerospace engineering, avionics, and software positions typically meet this bar. Make sure your degree field aligns directly with the job description before applying.
Highlight regulatory and certification experience
Aerospace & Defense employers like Heart Aerospace value candidates familiar with FAA certification processes and aviation safety standards. Demonstrating this knowledge in your application signals immediate value and reduces the employer's hesitation around sponsorship costs.
Apply early in their hiring cycle
For H-1B sponsorship to align with the April lottery window, timing your application several months in advance matters. Research Heart Aerospace's active openings well before the registration period opens so you have time to move through their interview process.
Position yourself as a candidate who understands sponsorship logistics
Employers in emerging aviation sectors often have lean HR teams. Coming to interviews prepared to explain the H-1B process, timeline, and what the employer needs to file reduces friction and shows you've done the work to make sponsorship manageable for them.
Browse verified sponsoring employers before applying broadly
Rather than guessing which companies will sponsor, search for roles at confirmed sponsors in the Aerospace & Defense space. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your effort where sponsorship is actually on the table.

Does Heart Aerospace sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Heart Aerospace sponsors H-1B visas for qualified international candidates. The H-1B is a nonimmigrant work visa that requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it typically demands at least a bachelor's degree in a specific technical field. Given Heart Aerospace's focus on electric aviation engineering, candidates in aerospace, electrical, and software engineering disciplines are generally the strongest fit for sponsored roles.
What types of roles at Heart Aerospace are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Heart Aerospace's sponsorship activity aligns closely with its core technical mission in electric aircraft development. Roles in aerospace engineering, electrical systems, propulsion, avionics, aircraft certification, and software development are the most likely candidates for H-1B sponsorship. Business, operations, and administrative functions are less commonly sponsored, as these positions can face higher scrutiny under the specialty occupation definition.
How do I know if Heart Aerospace is actively hiring sponsored roles right now?
Sponsorship activity at companies like Heart Aerospace can fluctuate with funding cycles and product development milestones. The most reliable way to find current openings is through Migrate Mate, which tracks verified sponsoring employers and surfaces roles where sponsorship has actually been granted. This saves you from applying to companies that list openings but don't sponsor in practice.
How do I time my application to Heart Aerospace if I need H-1B sponsorship?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you need a new H-1B, you should aim to have an offer letter and a filed petition by late March at the latest. That means starting your job search and interview process no later than the preceding fall or winter. Companies like Heart Aerospace need time to complete LCA filing with the Department of Labor before your petition can be submitted.
Does Heart Aerospace sponsor Green Cards for employees?
Heart Aerospace's public sponsorship record shows H-1B visa filings as their primary sponsorship activity. Green Card sponsorship, which typically involves the PERM labor certification process and a much longer timeline, is less common at earlier-stage aerospace companies. It's best to raise Green Card sponsorship directly during the offer stage, as policies can vary depending on the role, department, and the company's current growth trajectory.
