Job Roles at Lahontan Golf Club Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Lahontan Golf Club Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles in turf, grounds, and course operations
Lahontan Golf Club's H-2B sponsorship is concentrated in seasonal, hands-on roles. Focus your application on turf management, grounds crew, and course maintenance positions where sponsorship need is strongest and recurring each season.
Understand the H-2B seasonal model before you apply
H-2B visas are tied to temporary, non-agricultural seasonal demand. Lahontan's sponsorship follows a predictable seasonal cycle, so timing your application to align with their operating season significantly improves your chances of being considered.
Emphasize hands-on experience in golf or turf environments
Lahontan operates at a premium level. Applicants who can demonstrate direct experience in golf course maintenance, irrigation, or sports turf management will stand out over generalist candidates when sponsorship decisions are made.
Apply early, H-2B positions fill fast
Because H-2B visas are subject to a national cap, employers like Lahontan file petitions months ahead of the season. Getting your application in well before the season starts is critical to being included in their sponsorship filing.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsoring employers in sports and recreation
Verified sponsors in the Sports & Recreation industry can be hard to identify. Migrate Mate surfaces employers with a real H-2B sponsorship history so you can focus on companies like Lahontan rather than guessing who will actually file.
Be prepared for a multi-step process involving the employer and the DOL
H-2B sponsorship requires your employer to obtain a temporary labor certification from the Department of Labor before filing with USCIS. Familiarize yourself with this process so you can ask the right questions and set realistic timeline expectations.

Does Lahontan Golf Club sponsor H-1B visas?
No. Lahontan Golf Club's sponsorship activity is concentrated in the H-2B visa category, which covers temporary non-agricultural workers in seasonal roles. H-2B aligns with the club's staffing needs in grounds maintenance and course operations. If you require H-1B sponsorship, Lahontan Golf Club is not a match for that pathway.
What visa types does Lahontan Golf Club sponsor?
Lahontan Golf Club sponsors the H-2B visa, which is designed for temporary seasonal workers in non-agricultural industries. This visa type suits the club's recurring need for skilled labor in golf course maintenance and related operations. The club has established a consistent pattern of H-2B sponsorship across multiple seasons.
Which roles at Lahontan Golf Club are typically sponsored?
Sponsored positions at Lahontan Golf Club are concentrated in grounds and turf management, reflecting the club's primary operational needs as a private golf facility. Roles related to course maintenance, irrigation, and sports turf preparation are the most likely candidates for H-2B sponsorship, rather than administrative or hospitality positions.
How do I find open jobs at Lahontan Golf Club that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which tracks verified H-2B sponsors in the Sports & Recreation industry and surfaces open roles filtered by real sponsorship history. Searching directly through Migrate Mate lets you confirm that Lahontan Golf Club is an active sponsor before investing time in an application.
How do I time my application to align with Lahontan Golf Club's H-2B hiring cycle?
H-2B employers must file their labor certification and USCIS petition months before the season begins, often as early as three to four months ahead of the intended start date. For a golf club operating a spring and summer season, that means petitions are typically submitted in late fall or early winter. Applying to Lahontan well ahead of that window gives your candidacy the best chance of being included in their filing.
