Job Roles at MAG Automotive Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in MAG Automotive Visa Sponsorship USA
Target engineering and technical roles first
MAG Automotive's sponsorship activity is concentrated in specialized technical functions. Focus your applications on engineering, CNC programming, and manufacturing systems roles where specialty occupation status is clearest and sponsorship is most defensible.
Highlight precision manufacturing experience
MAG specializes in high-precision machining and manufacturing systems. Applicants who can demonstrate hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing equipment, automation, or tooling design will stand out in a field where specialized skills directly justify visa sponsorship.
Understand the TN visa pathway if you're Canadian or Mexican
MAG Automotive sponsors TN visas alongside H-1B, making it accessible without lottery risk. If you're Canadian or Mexican with an engineering or technical background, the TN route can move significantly faster than waiting for H-1B selection.
Research open roles using verified sponsorship data
Not every manufacturing employer with a technical opening will sponsor visas. Use Migrate Mate to filter for companies like MAG Automotive with a confirmed sponsorship track record, so you're focusing your effort on employers who have actually gone through the process.
Frame your degree field clearly in your application
H-1B eligibility in manufacturing depends on demonstrating a specialty occupation with a directly related degree. Make the connection between your field of study and the specific technical role explicit in your resume and cover letter to support the sponsorship case.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does MAG Automotive sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, MAG Automotive sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established track record of filing H-1B petitions for skilled workers in technical and engineering roles. Sponsorship tends to be focused on positions that clearly meet the specialty occupation standard, so applicants with a directly relevant degree in engineering or a related technical field are best positioned.
What visa types does MAG Automotive sponsor?
MAG Automotive sponsors H-1B visas, supports F-1 OPT workers, and offers TN visa sponsorship for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. The company does not have a strong Green Card sponsorship history based on available data, so candidates primarily targeting permanent residence may want to plan accordingly.
Which roles or departments at MAG Automotive are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at MAG Automotive is most common in technical and engineering functions, consistent with its focus on precision manufacturing systems. Roles in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, CNC applications, and automation are the strongest candidates. Support functions like general administration or sales are less likely to qualify for specialty occupation classification under H-1B rules.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at MAG Automotive?
Migrate Mate lists visa-sponsored openings from verified sponsors like MAG Automotive, letting you filter by visa type and industry. Because MAG's hiring volume in sponsorship roles is relatively selective, checking regularly for new postings and setting up alerts gives you the best chance of catching relevant openings as they appear.
How do I time my application to MAG Automotive around H-1B deadlines?
H-1B registrations open in March each year, with a cap-subject lottery typically run in late March. To have your petition ready, you'd need an offer and completed paperwork by early March at the latest. For OPT workers, securing an offer by January or February gives you the buffer needed to coordinate STEM extension or H-1B filing without gaps in work authorization.
