The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or a certificate from a professional/business/secretarial school, at least one year of IDS experience, an interest in assisting our legal professionals in a vibrant patent practice in our Boston office, and a desire to work hard and to learn. The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000 annually depending on experience. If you have the appropriate experience, we invite you to consider joining our team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Under general supervision, prepares and files Information Disclosure Statements and performs other IDS/Patent Prosecution related tasks and projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ year(s) of IDS experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree
SKILLS:
- Comprehensive knowledge of preparation and filing of information disclosure statements
- Comprehensive working knowledge of most current USPTO rules and procedures
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Must maintain electronic client files
- Knowledge of effective proofreading techniques
- Preparation of Section 18 charts
- Comprehensive knowledge of IPDAS and cpi
- Must work effectively and proactively in a team environment
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
