As Odoo culinary members, we are tasked with bringing a creative and innovative culinary experience to our team members. We do this by maintaining a consistent quality and presentation in every dish while adhering to strict food safety and sanitation to ensure the health and well-being of our team members.
Schedule: Full-time schedule. Monday through Friday, ~ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. More details upon interview.
Starting Pay: $18 - $20 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Prepare batch recipes according to kitchen standards and daily prep lists
- Assist with plating, restocking the line, and supporting service areas such as salad and dish-out stations
- Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients like vegetables, fruits, and proteins as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and taking out trash
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment throughout the day to support smooth and efficient kitchen operations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines and protocols
- Stock and organize ingredients in designated storage areas, ensuring items are labeled and rotated properly
- Report any ingredient shortages, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the kitchen team or leadership
- Contribute to the smooth flow of kitchen operations by staying proactive and adaptable
- Perform general porter duties and assist with other kitchen tasks as assigned
Must Have:
- Strong culinary skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Experience in large banquets
