Target roles aligned with seasonal outdoor work
Pro Outdoor's sponsorship activity centers on the H-2B visa, which supports temporary nonagricultural workers. Focus your applications on roles in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or outdoor property services, these are the positions most likely to come with sponsorship attached.
Understand the H-2B's seasonal nature before applying
H-2B visas are tied to temporary or seasonal demand. Pro Outdoor's hiring cycles likely follow peak outdoor service periods. Time your outreach to align with when they're actively recruiting, applying too late in a season reduces your chances significantly.
Emphasize physical outdoor work experience in your application
Pro Outdoor operates in a hands-on industry. Highlight any prior experience in property maintenance, landscaping, or facilities services. Concrete, relevant field experience carries more weight here than credentials alone when competing for sponsored positions.
Verify sponsorship history before investing time in your application
Pro Outdoor has a strong track record as an H-2B sponsor. To confirm current openings with verified sponsorship attached, use Migrate Mate, it surfaces employers with real sponsorship history so you're not guessing about who will actually file on your behalf.
Be ready for a streamlined, employer-led process
With H-2B sponsorship, the employer drives the petition process, not you. Pro Outdoor handles the Department of Labor certification and USCIS filing. Your role is to respond quickly to documentation requests and stay available throughout the process.
Ask about return worker preference during outreach
Many H-2B sponsors in the facilities and outdoor services industry give priority to workers who've successfully completed a prior season. If you've worked with Pro Outdoor or similar companies before, lead with that experience, it can meaningfully improve your selection odds.

Does Pro Outdoor sponsor H-1B visas?
No, Pro Outdoor's sponsorship activity is focused on the H-2B visa, not the H-1B. The H-2B covers temporary nonagricultural workers in industries like outdoor services and property maintenance, which aligns with Pro Outdoor's business. If you're seeking H-1B sponsorship, Pro Outdoor is not the right target, but for H-2B opportunities in the facilities sector, they are an active and established sponsor.
What visa types does Pro Outdoor sponsor?
Pro Outdoor sponsors workers through the H-2B visa program. This visa is designed for temporary or seasonal workers in nonagricultural roles, making it a natural fit for companies in outdoor services and facilities management. Pro Outdoor does not have a known track record of sponsoring H-1B, Green Card, or E-3 visas, so applicants should calibrate expectations accordingly.
Which roles or departments at Pro Outdoor are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Pro Outdoor is concentrated in field-based, hands-on roles rather than office or corporate functions. Positions in grounds maintenance, outdoor property upkeep, and facilities services are the most common sponsored roles. The H-2B visa is tied to specific job openings with documented seasonal need, so roles with clear peak-period demand are the most likely candidates for sponsorship.
What does the sponsorship application timeline look like at Pro Outdoor?
H-2B sponsorship involves multiple steps, all employer-led. Pro Outdoor must obtain a temporary labor certification from the Department of Labor before filing the H-2B petition with USCIS. This process typically begins well ahead of the intended start date, often several months in advance. As an applicant, the most important thing is to respond quickly to any requests for documentation and stay in close contact with the employer throughout.
How do I find open sponsored positions at Pro Outdoor?
The most reliable approach is to search for Pro Outdoor directly on Migrate Mate, which tracks employers with verified sponsorship histories and surfaces open roles tied to real visa filings. Because H-2B hiring is seasonal and time-sensitive, checking regularly and setting up relevant alerts will help you catch openings as soon as they're posted, before positions are filled.
