Job Roles at RiverStone Resources Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in RiverStone Resources Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles aligned with EB-2 and EB-3 pathways
RiverStone Resources sponsors permanent residency, not H-1B visas, so focus your search on roles that support PERM-based Green Card sponsorship, typically professional and technical positions within insurance operations, claims, or finance.
Understand the PERM labor certification timeline
Green Card sponsorship through RiverStone involves a multi-step PERM process that can take a year or more before an I-140 petition is even filed. Factor this into your planning, especially if you're on a time-limited visa status.
Emphasize long-term commitment during your application
Employers sponsoring Green Cards invest significantly in the process. Demonstrate during interviews that you're seeking a stable, long-term role at RiverStone, not a stepping stone, to signal you're worth that investment.
Focus on specialty insurance skill sets
RiverStone operates in run-off and legacy insurance, a niche requiring specialized actuarial, claims, and financial expertise. Candidates with these skills are better positioned for sponsorship consideration within the company's core business.
Ask directly about sponsorship eligibility during the process
Because RiverStone's sponsorship activity is focused rather than broad, confirm early in the hiring process whether the specific role you're applying for is eligible for Green Card sponsorship before investing significant time.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsoring employers
If RiverStone's current openings don't match your profile, broaden your search to similar insurance companies with confirmed sponsorship histories. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history across the insurance sector.

Does RiverStone Resources sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, RiverStone Resources does not have a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas. Their immigration sponsorship activity is focused on permanent residency through the EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories. If you're currently on an H-1B and seeking a transfer, RiverStone may not be the right fit unless you're also ready to pursue a Green Card pathway.
What visa types does RiverStone Resources sponsor?
RiverStone Resources sponsors employment-based Green Cards, specifically through the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories. These pathways are designed for professionals with advanced degrees or skilled workers in roles where RiverStone has demonstrated a sponsorship need. The company does not appear to sponsor temporary work visas such as the H-1B or E-3.
Which departments or roles at RiverStone Resources are most likely to receive sponsorship?
Given RiverStone's specialty in insurance run-off and legacy liability management, roles in actuarial science, claims management, finance, and risk analysis are most likely to align with their sponsorship activity. These are the technical and professional functions where the company's business need for specialized talent is strongest, making them the most viable candidates for PERM-based Green Card support.
How do I apply to RiverStone Resources if I need Green Card sponsorship?
Apply through RiverStone's careers page and be upfront about your need for Green Card sponsorship during early conversations with recruiters. Since their sponsorship is limited to the EB-2 and EB-3 categories, ensure the role you're targeting is a strong match for your qualifications. You can use Migrate Mate to identify open roles at RiverStone and other verified insurance sponsors with confirmed Green Card histories.
How long does the Green Card process take at RiverStone Resources?
The EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card process typically involves three stages: PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor, an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS, and adjustment of status or consular processing. The full timeline commonly ranges from one to several years, and can extend further depending on your country of birth and visa backlog. Starting the process as early as possible in your employment is strongly advisable.
