Frame your credentials around U.S. securities regulation
FINRA registrations, Series 7 or Series 57 licenses, and familiarity with SEC and CFTC rules carry real weight in TD Securities compliance interviews. Translate any non-U.S. regulatory experience into equivalent U.S. frameworks before you apply.
Target TD Securities roles by business line
Compliance analyst openings at TD Securities vary significantly by desk, covering equities, fixed income, and derivatives. Applying to roles aligned with your specific product knowledge increases your interview odds and signals genuine fit to their compliance hiring team.
Clarify your visa category early in conversations
TD Securities sponsors H-1B, E-3, and Green Card pathways, but each involves different timelines and employer steps. Raising your visa type during initial recruiter screens, not after an offer, prevents delays and helps their legal team prepare the right petition.
Understand the H-1B cap and lottery timing
If you need a new H-1B, USCIS registration opens each March for an October 1 start. Plan your TD Securities application timeline around this window so an offer can align with petition filing without leaving you in a gap period.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open Compliance Analyst roles
Compliance openings at TD Securities are posted across multiple channels and can close quickly. Search Migrate Mate to filter sponsorship-confirmed roles by visa type, so you're applying to positions where your work authorization situation is already understood.
Prepare for PERM documentation if targeting permanent residency
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship through PERM requires your employer to document a formal recruitment process before filing with DOL. Understanding this requirement upfront lets you have an informed conversation about long-term sponsorship when negotiating your offer.

Find Compliance Analyst at TD Securities JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does TD Securities sponsor H-1B visas for Compliance Analysts?
Yes, TD Securities sponsors H-1B visas for Compliance Analyst roles. If you need an initial H-1B, your start date will depend on the USCIS lottery, which runs each March for an October 1 entry into status. If you already hold H-1B status with another employer, TD Securities can file a transfer petition, allowing you to start work once USCIS receives the petition.
Which visa types does TD Securities commonly sponsor for Compliance Analysts?
TD Securities sponsors H-1B, E-3, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Compliance Analyst positions. Australian citizens are well positioned to pursue the E-3, which bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely and allows for a direct consular application. Green Card sponsorship through PERM typically becomes relevant after you've established yourself in the role.
What qualifications does TD Securities expect for Compliance Analyst roles?
TD Securities typically looks for a bachelor's degree in finance, law, accounting, or a related field, along with familiarity with securities regulations from the SEC, FINRA, or CFTC. Experience with trade surveillance, AML programs, or regulatory reporting strengthens your application considerably. Relevant FINRA licenses or prior compliance experience at a broker-dealer or investment bank are frequently preferred over general financial services backgrounds.
How do I apply for Compliance Analyst jobs at TD Securities?
You can find Compliance Analyst openings at TD Securities through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm your work authorization situation aligns before applying. Roles are also posted on TD Securities' careers portal. Tailor your application to the specific business line, whether equities, fixed income, or derivatives compliance, since each team has distinct regulatory focuses and hiring criteria.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Compliance Analyst offer at TD Securities?
Timeline depends on your visa category. An E-3 can be processed at a U.S. consulate in Australia within weeks of receiving a certified Labor Condition Application from your employer. An H-1B transfer for someone already in status can be filed within days of an offer and typically receives a receipt notice in two to four weeks. New H-1B petitions tied to the lottery require planning around the March registration window and an October 1 start date.
