Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Amphenol TN Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Map your role to USMCA occupations
Before applying, confirm your job title maps to an eligible USMCA profession such as engineer or scientist. Amphenol's construction and interconnect roles often involve hybrid responsibilities, so cross-check your actual duties against the USMCA list, not just your title.
Pull prevailing wage data before negotiating
Use the OFLC Wage Search to benchmark the salary range for your occupation in Amphenol's hiring location. Arriving at an offer negotiation without wage data weakens your position and can complicate the credentialing step at the border or consulate.
Verify your degree aligns with your function
TN admission requires a direct relationship between your credential and the offered role. For Amphenol's technical positions, a general business degree won't satisfy TN requirements if the role is classified as an engineer or scientist under USMCA definitions.
Request a detailed offer letter early
Amphenol's offer letter must describe your specific duties, your USMCA profession category, your salary, and your anticipated length of stay. Vague letters cause delays or denials at the port of entry, so request specifics before your admission appointment.
Search Amphenol's verified TN roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Amphenol job listings by TN eligibility so you're targeting roles the company actively supports rather than applying broadly. This narrows your search to positions where Amphenol has a track record of issuing TN offer letters.
Prepare for secondary inspection with documentation
Canadian nationals entering at a land border for Amphenol roles in construction-adjacent fields occasionally face secondary review. Bring your academic transcripts, professional licenses, and a copy of your O*NET occupation profile alongside your offer letter to support your admission.
Amphenol TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Amphenol sponsor TN visas?
Yes. Amphenol hires TN professionals for qualifying USMCA occupations across its engineering, technical, and operations teams. The company issues offer letters that Canadian and Mexican nationals use to seek TN admission at a U.S. port of entry or consulate. Eligible roles are limited to professions defined on the USMCA list, so confirm your occupation qualifies before applying.
Which roles at Amphenol typically qualify for TN admission?
Amphenol's strongest TN hiring concentrates in engineering and scientific disciplines tied to its interconnect manufacturing and construction-related segments. Roles such as electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, industrial engineer, and computer systems analyst commonly align with USMCA profession categories. Project management and general business roles are less likely to qualify unless the core duties satisfy a recognized USMCA occupation definition.
How do I start the TN process with Amphenol?
Once Amphenol extends an offer, request a detailed offer letter that specifies your USMCA profession, job duties, salary, and intended duration of employment. Canadian nationals present this letter at a U.S. port of entry without a prior USCIS petition. Mexican nationals schedule a consular appointment and present the letter there. No Labor Condition Application or USCIS filing is involved.
How long does TN admission take when working with Amphenol?
Canadian nationals can typically receive a TN admission decision the same day at a port of entry, assuming documentation is complete. Mexican nationals face consular appointment wait times that vary by location and demand. TN status is granted in up to three-year increments and can be renewed indefinitely, so Amphenol can continue supporting you through each renewal cycle.
How do I find open TN-eligible positions at Amphenol?
Use Migrate Mate to search Amphenol's current openings filtered by TN eligibility, which surfaces roles the company supports for Canadian and Mexican nationals. Cross-reference the job description against the USMCA professions list and review the O*NET occupation profile for your target role to confirm the duties align before submitting your application.
How does TN visa admission work at Amphenol?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Amphenol, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
