Confirm your role appears on the USMCA list
TN admission is limited to specific USMCA professions. Before applying to Beacon Health System, verify your job title maps to a listed occupation like Registered Nurse, Medical Laboratory Technologist, or Pharmacist. A mismatch at the border means an immediate denial with no appeal.
Request a detailed offer letter from Beacon
Beacon Health System's offer letter must specify your USMCA profession category, the prearranged nature of the work, and your anticipated start date. Border officers and consular officers scrutinize this document closely, so any vague language about duties or employment type creates unnecessary risk.
Align your credentials to USMCA degree requirements
Healthcare roles at Beacon typically require licensure or degree documentation matching the USMCA profession definition exactly. Canadian nurses must carry provincial licensure; Mexican applicants need a visa from a U.S. consulate. Gather credential evaluations and license translations before your border or consulate appointment.
Search Beacon's TN-eligible roles on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters job listings by employers that support TN admission, so you can identify Beacon Health System openings matched to USMCA-eligible occupations. This saves time that generic job boards waste on roles that clearly fall outside TN's approved professions list.
Target departments with recurring professional hiring
Beacon Health System's clinical and allied health departments hire repeatedly for USMCA-listed roles. Focusing your outreach on nursing, pharmacy, laboratory services, and clinical management increases the probability you're applying for positions where hiring managers already understand the TN process.
Prepare for same-day admission at a land port
Canadian TN candidates can seek admission at a land port of entry the same day Beacon issues your offer letter. Bring your degree transcripts, professional licenses, and the original signed letter. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers adjudicate TN admission on the spot, so complete documentation is non-negotiable.
Beacon Health System TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Beacon Health System sponsor TN visas?
Beacon Health System supports TN admission for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying USMCA professions. Rather than filing a petition with USCIS, Beacon issues a detailed offer letter that you present at the border or U.S. consulate. The roles most commonly supported align with clinical and healthcare professional categories on the USMCA professions list.
Which roles at Beacon Health System qualify for TN admission?
Beacon Health System's TN-eligible roles are limited to USMCA-listed occupations, which in a healthcare system typically means Registered Nurses, Medical Laboratory Technologists, Pharmacists, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists. Roles outside that list, including administrative or general management positions, do not qualify regardless of Beacon's willingness to hire.
How do I start the TN process with Beacon Health System?
After receiving and accepting a job offer, request a formal offer letter that confirms the USMCA profession category, your duties, and the prearranged employment terms. Canadian citizens then proceed directly to a U.S. land port of entry or airport preclearance. Mexican citizens must schedule a nonimmigrant visa appointment at a U.S. consulate before admission.
How long does TN admission with Beacon Health System take?
For Canadian citizens, TN admission can happen the same day you arrive at the border with a complete package. Mexican citizens face consulate appointment wait times, which vary by location and season. Beacon's offer letter is valid once issued, so your timeline depends almost entirely on your nationality and how quickly you can schedule your entry or consulate appointment.
How do I find TN-eligible job openings at Beacon Health System?
Migrate Mate lists open positions at employers that support TN admission, letting you filter directly for Beacon Health System roles matched to USMCA-eligible occupations. Cross-reference any role you identify against the official USMCA professions list before applying, since not every position at a healthcare employer qualifies for TN status.
How does TN visa admission work at Beacon Health System?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Beacon Health System, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
