Match your credentials to USMCA professions
Cardinal Health's TN-eligible roles must align with occupations listed in the USMCA professions appendix. Cross-reference your degree title and field with that list before applying, a mismatch in credential framing is the most common reason TN admission gets denied at the border.
Target supply chain and pharmacy roles
Cardinal Health's core business is healthcare distribution, so its heaviest TN hiring concentrates in supply chain management, pharmacy, and IT systems. Filter your job search to these functions first, they're where offer letters supporting TN admission are most routinely issued.
Confirm the offer letter covers TN requirements
Before your border or consulate appointment, verify that Cardinal Health's offer letter explicitly states your USMCA profession category, job duties, duration, and salary. Missing any of these details gives a border officer grounds to deny admission regardless of your qualifications.
Use Migrate Mate to identify Cardinal Health openings
Searching broadly wastes time on roles that won't support TN admission. Migrate Mate filters Cardinal Health's open positions by visa type so you can focus on roles where TN is a realistic path before you invest time in applications and credential preparation.
Prepare your credential documentation before the interview
Cardinal Health's hiring teams move quickly once a candidate clears technical interviews. Have certified degree transcripts, professional license copies, and a credentials evaluation ready before your final round so the offer letter process isn't delayed on your end.
Understand the Canadian versus Mexican TN path
If you're Canadian, you present Cardinal Health's offer letter directly at a port of entry with no advance visa appointment needed. If you're Mexican, you schedule a U.S. consulate interview first. Both paths require the same offer letter, but the timeline and logistics differ significantly.
Cardinal Health TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Cardinal Health sponsor TN visas?
Yes. Cardinal Health issues offer letters that support TN admission for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying USMCA professions. TN is treaty-based admission under USMCA, so Cardinal Health doesn't file a petition with USCIS. Instead, it provides a support letter you present at the border or U.S. consulate to obtain TN status directly.
Which roles at Cardinal Health are typically eligible for TN?
TN-eligible roles at Cardinal Health tend to fall in supply chain and logistics management, pharmacy, information technology, engineering, and finance. These align with USMCA-listed professions and match Cardinal Health's core business in healthcare distribution. Roles without a degree requirement or outside the USMCA professions list won't qualify for TN regardless of title.
How do I start the TN process with Cardinal Health?
Once you receive a job offer, Cardinal Health's HR team prepares a support letter confirming your role, duties, USMCA profession category, and employment terms. Canadians present that letter at a U.S. port of entry. Mexicans schedule a consulate interview first. You're responsible for gathering your credentials and booking your own border or consulate appointment.
How long does TN admission take when working with Cardinal Health?
Canadians can receive TN admission the same day at a port of entry, assuming documentation is complete. Mexicans applying through a U.S. consulate typically face a longer timeline depending on appointment availability. Cardinal Health's offer letter preparation can take a few business days after an offer is accepted, so build that into your start date planning.
How do I find open TN roles at Cardinal Health?
Migrate Mate lists Cardinal Health positions filtered by visa type, making it straightforward to identify roles where TN admission is supported. You can also search Cardinal Health's careers page directly, but confirm TN eligibility before applying by checking whether the role maps to a USMCA-listed profession and requires a qualifying degree in a related field.
How does TN visa admission work at Cardinal Health?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Cardinal Health, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
