Align your credentials to USMCA professions
TN eligibility depends on your role falling within the USMCA professions list. At Corgan, architecture and engineering roles are the clearest fit. Confirm your specific job title maps to a recognized USMCA category before applying, since not every design or construction role qualifies automatically.
Research Corgan's active project types
Corgan works across aviation, healthcare, and commercial projects. Targeting open roles tied to active project pipelines, rather than general openings, signals to hiring managers that your expertise meets an immediate team need, which strengthens your case for TN-supported employment from the start.
Verify your degree meets USMCA standards
Corgan's design roles typically require a bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering. For Mexican applicants, a credential evaluation confirming equivalency to a U.S. degree is essential before your consular appointment, since officers assess educational requirements strictly against the USMCA professions list.
Use Migrate Mate to find Corgan's TN-eligible roles
Search Corgan's open positions filtered by TN-eligible role types using Migrate Mate, which surfaces jobs at companies with documented TN hiring activity. This helps you identify which specific Corgan departments and project teams are actively bringing on TN professionals rather than guessing from generic job boards.
Prepare your offer letter for border or consular presentation
Corgan's offer letter must clearly state your USMCA job category, your professional qualifications, and your employment terms. Canadian nationals present this at a port of entry; Mexican nationals present it at a U.S. consulate. A vague or incomplete letter is the most common reason for TN admission delays.
Anticipate questions about project scope at entry
CBP officers may ask how your role at Corgan relates to your USMCA profession. Prepare a clear, concise explanation of your project responsibilities and how they connect directly to your qualifying profession, since architecture and engineering roles at large design firms can sometimes appear broad to officers unfamiliar with the industry.
Corgan TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Corgan sponsor TN visas?
Corgan supports TN admission for qualified Canadian and Mexican professionals by issuing the required offer letter for eligible USMCA roles. TN is not a petition-based visa, so Corgan doesn't file with USCIS on your behalf. Instead, you present Corgan's offer letter at a port of entry or U.S. consulate, depending on your nationality.
Which roles at Corgan typically qualify for TN admission?
Corgan's core work in architecture, interior design, and engineering aligns closely with the USMCA professions list. Architects and licensed engineers are the most straightforward fit. Roles in construction management or project coordination may qualify depending on your specific credentials and how the position is defined in your offer letter.
How do I start the TN process after receiving a Corgan job offer?
Once Corgan issues a formal offer letter outlining your USMCA profession, qualifications, and employment terms, Canadian nationals can proceed directly to a port of entry. Mexican nationals must schedule a consular appointment. Use Migrate Mate to identify Corgan openings in TN-eligible roles before reaching the offer stage, so your preparation aligns from the beginning.
How long does TN admission typically take at Corgan?
Canadian nationals approved at a port of entry can receive TN status the same day they present their documentation. Mexican nationals should account for U.S. consulate wait times, which vary by location and time of year. TN status is granted in up to three-year increments and can be renewed without a formal cap or lottery.
What documents should I bring to support my TN admission for a Corgan role?
You'll need Corgan's offer letter, proof of citizenship, and credentials confirming your qualifications in the relevant USMCA profession, such as a degree transcript or professional license. For architecture roles, a licensed architect credential strengthens your case significantly. Mexican applicants also need a valid visa appointment confirmation and completed DS-160 form.
How does TN visa admission work at Corgan?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Corgan, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
