Match your credentials to USMCA professions
TN eligibility depends on your role matching a defined USMCA profession and your degree aligning to that category. At Globus Medical, engineering and scientific titles like biomedical or mechanical engineer carry clearer credential paths than hybrid commercial roles, so confirm your classification before applying.
Target Globus Medical's engineering and clinical teams
Globus Medical hires TN professionals most consistently in device engineering, clinical applications, and regulatory affairs. Searching specifically within these departments, rather than applying broadly, puts you in front of hiring managers who already work with TN candidates and understand the admission process.
Verify your wage offer against OFLC Wage Search
While TN doesn't require an LCA, your offered salary at Globus Medical should align with prevailing wage levels for your occupation and work location. Cross-checking with OFLC Wage Search before your interview helps you negotiate confidently and signals to HR that you understand compliance expectations.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified TN roles
Searching broadly for open positions wastes time on employers unfamiliar with TN admission. Migrate Mate filters for companies with documented TN hiring history, letting you identify Globus Medical openings in qualifying departments and apply directly where your admission pathway is already understood by the recruiter.
Request a detailed offer letter before your border appointment
At a Canadian port of entry, the CBP officer reviews your offer letter on the spot. Ask Globus Medical's HR team to include your specific job title, the matching USMCA profession category, your degree requirement, salary, and work location so the officer can make an immediate decision without additional questions.
Prepare your O*NET occupational evidence in advance
If your Globus Medical role has a hybrid title, a CBP or consular officer may question which USMCA profession it falls under. Pulling the O*NET profile for your specific occupation code and matching your degree to its typical education requirements gives you a ready, credible answer during the admission review.
Globus Medical TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Globus Medical sponsor TN visas?
Globus Medical supports TN admission for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying USMCA professions. The company issues offer letters for eligible roles, which candidates present at a U.S. port of entry or consulate. TN is not an employer-petitioned visa, so there's no USCIS filing involved on Globus Medical's side.
Which roles at Globus Medical are typically eligible for TN admission?
Roles in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, regulatory affairs, clinical applications, and scientific research align most consistently with USMCA profession categories at Globus Medical. Positions requiring a relevant bachelor's degree in a recognized field carry the strongest admission profile. Sales or management roles without a direct USMCA profession match are generally not eligible.
How do I start the TN process after receiving an offer from Globus Medical?
After accepting your offer, work with Globus Medical's HR team to obtain a detailed support letter confirming your job title, the USMCA profession category, required degree, salary, and employment duration. Canadian citizens present this letter at a U.S. port of entry; Mexican nationals apply at a U.S. consulate for a TN visa stamp before traveling.
How long does TN admission at Globus Medical typically take?
Canadian citizens crossing at a port of entry can receive TN admission the same day if documentation is complete. Mexican nationals applying at a U.S. consulate face timelines tied to appointment availability, which can range from days to several weeks depending on the consulate location and current demand.
How do I find open TN-eligible positions at Globus Medical?
Migrate Mate lists Globus Medical roles alongside verified TN hiring context, helping you identify openings in departments with a track record of supporting TN professionals. Targeting engineering, clinical, and regulatory job families improves your chances of landing a role where Globus Medical's HR team is already comfortable with the TN admission process.
How does TN visa admission work at Globus Medical?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Globus Medical, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
