Align your degree to USMCA categories
Kraft Heinz hires heavily in food science, chemical engineering, and supply chain management. Before applying, confirm your specific degree title maps to a recognized USMCA profession, because border officers assess your credentials against that list, not your job title alone.
Target R&D and quality assurance teams
Kraft Heinz's product development and quality assurance functions regularly bring on food scientists and chemists who qualify under USMCA. These teams sit closest to roles where a technical degree requirement is clearest, which strengthens your TN admission case at the port of entry.
Request a detailed offer letter early
The offer letter Kraft Heinz provides must describe your role in USMCA profession terms, not just your job title. Ask your recruiter to confirm the letter specifies your qualifying occupation category, required degree, and employment duration before you travel to the border or consulate.
Check prevailing wage expectations before negotiating
Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up wage levels for your specific occupation code in the metro area where your Kraft Heinz role is based. Arriving at salary negotiations informed by regional wage data signals preparation and helps you avoid offers that fall below market for your TN category.
Use Migrate Mate to identify verified TN employers
Search Kraft Heinz on Migrate Mate to review its work authorization hiring history by role and location. This helps you confirm which departments have hired TN professionals before and target your application toward teams with demonstrated experience supporting USMCA admissions.
Prepare your credential documents for border review
Canadian nationals presenting at a U.S. port of entry should bring original transcripts, degree certificates, and any professional licenses relevant to their USMCA category. CBP officers at the border evaluate credentials on the spot, so a disorganized packet can delay or derail your admission.
Kraft Heinz TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Kraft Heinz sponsor TN visas?
Kraft Heinz supports TN admission for qualifying Canadian and Mexican professionals by issuing offer letters for eligible roles. Because TN is treaty-based under USMCA, Kraft Heinz doesn't file a petition with USCIS. Instead, you present your offer letter and credentials at a U.S. port of entry or consulate to seek admission directly.
Which roles at Kraft Heinz are most likely to qualify for TN status?
Roles in food science, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain management, and computer systems analysis align closely with recognized USMCA profession categories. Kraft Heinz's R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering teams hire regularly for positions that require the degree-level qualifications the TN category demands.
How do I start the TN process after receiving a Kraft Heinz offer?
Once you have a written offer, work with your Kraft Heinz HR contact to confirm the offer letter specifies your USMCA profession category, required degree, and employment period. Canadian nationals then present that letter with their credentials at a U.S. port of entry. Mexican nationals schedule a visa interview at a U.S. consulate before traveling.
How long does TN admission take when hired by Kraft Heinz?
Canadian nationals typically complete the process at the port of entry in a single visit, often within a few hours. Mexican nationals must account for U.S. consulate appointment wait times, which vary by location and season. TN status is granted for up to three years and can be renewed without a cap on the number of renewals.
How do I find open TN-eligible roles at Kraft Heinz?
Use Migrate Mate to search Kraft Heinz's work authorization hiring history by role type and location, which helps you focus on departments that have supported TN professionals before. Cross-reference open listings against the USMCA professions list and review the O*NET occupation profile for your target role to confirm the degree requirement is clearly defined.
How does TN visa admission work at Kraft Heinz?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Kraft Heinz, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
